We're planning to operate a trial hub from Grange Station, hiring out mobility scooters and a powered wheelchair so that people with physical difficulty or disability can access the promenade easily to enjoy the sea air and amazing views. This is in addition to the Tramper hire service that we run with volunteers from Grange Library.

We're also researching the hire of E-bikes and how we could deliver a scheme which works best for you.

We were thrilled to receive a selection of watercolour images from Jane Hall of Galgate today from when she visited the #Baylines #BeachofDreams installation at #Arnside last August.
She has captured so beautifully the lovely calming feeling of the #silkpennants billowing gently in the wind with the #viaduct in the background. It evokes the sounds of the #seashanties on the breeze, and the joyous community ceilidh on the #pier with @boombikebourree and @moremusic1

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE?
With daffodils and carpets of crocuses now appearing around the Bay, and #spring finally on its way, our Future Coast Engagement Officer, Joseph decided it's time to set off on an adventure from his doorstep and tackle the #baycycleway in a day with friend Sam.
While most people like to complete this #longdistancebikeride in two, three or even four days, Joseph and Sam wanted to set themselves a physical challenge as well as having a lovely day out.
